The 36-year-old finishes his career 93-81 with a 4.68 ERA in 234 starts and 67 relief appearances over 12 seasons. His best season was 1998, when he went 20-7 with a 4.41 ERA and 164 strikeouts for the Rangers.
I have always been curious how much time the players get to spend with there family. Late at night after games? Only during the off-season? That's one thing I wouldn't like being a ball player.

Always liked Rick. Injury bug got the best of him! Best of luck to him in the future! I would hate being away from my family that much too!!

I always liked Rick too. Obviously because he spent several years in the Ranger rotation. In his 4 years in the rotation from 1998-2001 he posted 61 wins including 20 in 1998. He and Aaron Sele the gave the Rangers a pretty good 1-2 punch that year with Sele winning 19 games.

You mean he wasn't retired yet?...wow.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.
