Marlins signed OF Aaron Rowand to a minor league contract.
It was first reported by FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal. Rowand, 34, batted .233/.274/.347 with four home runs, 21 RBI and a .621 OPS over 351 plate appearances this past season before being released by the Giants in September. His past experience with Ozzie Guillen in Chicago gives him a pretty good chance to win a job as a reserve outfielder during spring training.
Watch the video not for the biking excellence, and awesome commentary. Wait for the end, and the final line.

Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that Greg Dobbs will make $3 million in his new two-year contract with the Marlins.
Not bad after he had to settle for a minor league deal last winter. Dobbs, 33, received semi-regular playing time at third base for the Marlins last season, batting .275/.311/.389 with eight homers, 49 RBI and a .701 OPS over 439 plate appearances. He also batted .370 (10-for-27) with a home run and eight RBI as a pinch-hitter. With Hanley Ramirez expected to make the move to third base in 2012, he'll contribute off the bench moving forward.
Great as a pinch hitter, good move to keep him.
Marlins signed Austin "Perfect Storm" Kearns to a minor league deal
Marlins released Aaron Rowand. They are less ballin' now
The best part is that he's still on the Giants' payroll for 12 million dollars.
Marlins sadness: the line for single-game tickets 30 minutes before they go on sale.

Maybe they tried to open ticket sales after 7PM. All the retirement homes refuse to let the 150 Marlins fans out.
They added 3 Polanco fans!
