Marlins Leo Nunez Breaks A Record

    Twitter / Juan C. Rodriguez: Leo Nunez's $3.65M 2011 sa ...

Leo Nunez's $3.65M 2011 salary most ever for a #Marlins reliever under Jeffrey Loria regime. Topped Armando Benitez's $3.5M in 2004.
I can't believe Loria didn't trade this guy especially after losing closing duties at the end of the season. Is Loria becoming less cheap? If so, the end of the world is truly near.

Loria once signed Graeme Lloyd to a three-year, $9 million contract with Montreal.

And ironically, the Graeme Lloyd signing marked the beginning of false hope during Loria's ownership of the Expos.

An Australian reliever in Canada should have been the first sign of the Loriacalypse.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!
