    My thoughts: Atlanta better won.

Yesterday's loss was embarassing. Atlanta always starts their year off very slow, but no team should get shut out on opening day.

Encarnaccion leads off the 12th with a shot to left caught by Jordan at the track.
Gonzalez singles to left directly following.

Solo shot by Chipper Jones gives Atlanta a 2-1 lead with no outs in the top of the 13th.

Andruw Jones barely hits the ball and Lo Duca runs down the first base line and dives and knocks the ball into fairer ground before it went foul. Jones had fallen down, so the pitcher just picked it up and handed it to Delgado for the out. Wacky play but a great one by Lo Duca.

First time we get to see Kolb try to close a Braves game .

Castillo is up first. Kolb is wild pitching to him and walks him on 5 pitches. He missed WAY high on the last pitch. Cabrera up next!

Cabrera is 0-4 with a BB today. Kolb remains wild. 2-1 pitch almost got away from the catcher. Cabrera breaks his bat on the 3-1 pitch hit it to Furcal and then a great DP (6th of the night for the Braves). Marlins are now down to there last out in Delgado. How one pitch changed that whole inning.

Kolb is still struggling with his control. Delgado is up 2-0 already. Now 3-1. Hits a nice line drive but right to Brian Jordan. Good game and great win for the Braves. Tough loss for the Marlins. Kolb didn't have his best tonight and they had a chane to do something but they just didn't. Hudson has start #1 with the Braves tomorrow .

Damn, that was a tough one. Braves had to fight for that one, but Chipper came up huge.
