    Marlins No, Not Josh Johnson

According to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, right-hander Josh Johnson "may be done for the season" due to back and shoulder problems.
Johnson flew to south Florida on Wednesday to have his back and shoulder examined by the Marlins' medical staff. If any sort of structural damage is revealed, he will almost certainly be shut down. "We have to make sure that JJ is ok, not only for the time being, but we have to make sure that his career is not in jeopardy," interim manager Edwin Rodriguez said.
Not good news for Marlins fans. Johnson was having a CY type year going 11-6 with a 2.30 ERA. I have loved watching this guy pitch and truly hope this is nothing serious that requires surgery. I think the Marlins are a good team and have underperformed this year and if you look at Johnson's starts you will see what I mean. The man got a lot of no decisions despite pitching brilliantly. Sucks Johnson won't have his say in the CY voting which appears to be one of the best CY races in years.

I say they should give him the Cy Young regardless. FIP! FIP! FIP!
