What are the Marlins going to do with Dan Uggla? He has been absolutely terrible this season and really he has been sucking since last year's All Star game when he had two errors that helped cost the NL the game. Uggla has just 13 HRs since that game and hitting just .213. He is hitting .186/.301/.345 to go along with his mediocre defense. The Marlins have tried dropping him in the order but that hasn't helped either. What should the Marlins do here? They have already called up a second baseman in Chris Coghlan but have him playing LF. Coghlan would be the better choice at second just for his defense. Can they trade Uggla at this point? How long do they wait for him to try and turn things around? Too many questions with Uggla but one thing is for sure, he is holding the Marlins back.
