J.J. Hardy with a homerun to centerfield to put the Brewers up 1-0 on Pittsburgh. Good going, Oliver.

Tom Glavine's 2-for-2 at the plate. Time to pull a Rick Ankiel on him, make Glavine your 2nd baseman.

Hernandez made a web gem caliber play at 2nd in the 2nd inning, he should be able to hold down the fort until Kaz gets back.

Wait, that may be a bad thing.

David Wright with a homerun to put the Mets up 3-1 on the lousy Nationals.

One day you'll get over your silly hate for the Nationals.

Or you'll just continue hating them because the rest of the Expos fans were too awful to go see them live and keep them there.

I don't know where I was going with this post.

Let's not turn this thread into an "Expos could have survived if this and that and this and that" discussion.

I'd rather talk about Bonds and steroids. Can't believe I'm saying that.

    Nady's 3-for-3!

Soriano getting gunned down at the plate...GREAT!

Lo Duca did a fantastic job blocking the plate.

Ha, that would have been the tying run, right? Suck it Soriano.

Jonny Gomes hit a huge HR a couple of minutes ago. Devil Rays are up 2-0 on the O's.

Meh, actually I think Soriano should've been safe.

Still serves him right for lightly jogging from 1st to 2nd.

WTF do the Nats feed their players? Byrd looks fat too.

Maybe grey isn't the most slimming color.

Ha. Matthew Lecroy sighting. Looks like he didn't stand a chance against Billy the Kid. Struck out looking.

Billy was throwing gas it looked like, had it muted so I didn't hear how fast.

Beltran guns down fat Vidro at 2nd as he tries to push a hit into the gap into a double.

Dang. To end the game at that. You're never supposed to end the game on a baserunning play. Sad. I guess it was a one-run ballgame though and he did want to get into scoring position. Tough way to lose.

Cards are up 5-0 on the Phillies, dang. With Carpenter on the mound, this one is pretty much over. Aaron Miles had a two-run triple and Carpenter had an RBI single.

Lieber is getting hammered. 6 hits in this inning so far.
