The problem is that F. Alou is not thinking! I know he is a loveable guy, but this is baseball. You don't keep guys around unless they help you win. Is Alou helping them win?

Thats because of a religious tradition. GOOD FRIDAY! This is not the case if you are a baseball fan.

Wait a minute. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath. On balance Alou has been a pretty good manager. He's made a few mistakes (they all do) and this thing yesterday didn't sit well with me either. But I'm not ready to tar and feather the man just yet. Calm down Bear

This might have to be some sort of Gaints' forum rule. The broom has been brought out twice already and we have f*cked it up both times.

Yeah better save this for much later in the season when we have a better feel for this rag tag bunch!

He's probably going to get drilled tomorrow for throwing his bat up in the air and showing up Shields a little, but maybe not and either way :ohwell:

This is awesome. Giants-Dodgers game got delayed by rain for a bunch of hours and it finally started not long ago. We've got baseball at 1 AM eastern and most likely until 3 or 4 AM! Fantastic stuff.

Giants win! Beat the Dodgers 2-1. Wright pitched very well.

Anyone realize that the New York Mets have a major league best 8-1 record? I guess all these offseason moves are paying off.
