AL EAST
New York Yankees (actually improved lineup and bullpen)
Boston Red Sox (offseason moves suspect, still a very strong team)
Toronto Blue Jays (dislike all aquisitons sans Ryan)
Tampa Bay Devil Rays (could move as high as 3rd if BJ's flounder)
Baltimore Orioles (Garbage?)
AL CENTRAL
Chicago White Sox (Improved Rotation, Aquired Power Hitter for moderate prices)
Cleveland Indians (Tough not to pick as winner, but they just didn't do enough)
Detroit Tigers (Good rotation, hitting is good, will battle this year)
Minnesota Twins (Aging rapidly, will be very streaky, could go as high as #2)
Kansas City Royals (should incorporate youngins this year)
AL WEST (NL East of last year, very tough to pick)
Oakland Athletics (Good pitching puts them atop the division)
Anaheim Angels (Good Lineup, may have pitching issues)
Texas Rangers (One Word: Pitching?)
Seattle Mariners (So hard to see them as a bottom of the division teams, especially if Sexson and Beltre produce like they're supposed to, but not much pitching depth)
WILDCARD
Anaheim Angels
Boston Red Sox
Cleveland Indians
Texas Rangers
(I expect this reace to be extremely tight)
NL EAST
Atlanta Braves (Another year atop)
New York Mets (Moves were good, but staff is too old)
Philadelphia Phillies (Could go up to #2, if it all falls into place)
Washington Nationals (Are only #4 because the Marlins are in the Division)
Florida Marlins (Poor Dontrelle and Miguel, look for exceptional young talent though)
NL CENTRAL
Chicago Cubs (Great offseason moves, keep some players off the DL and they will be very good)
St. Louis Cardinals (If pitching is in place, lineup is explosive enough for 1st base)
Pittsburgh Pirates (Love the young staff/rotation, and aquisiton of Casey)
Cincinnati Reds (If only outfielders could pitch)
Milawaukee Brewers (still a couple years away)
NL WEST
San Diego Padres (Peavy is God here)
Los Angeles Dodgers (cloud move to #1 if Pitching comes through)
Arizona Diamondbacks (Good lineup, needs younger pitchers)
San Francisco Giants (Barry's return means nothing, since they still have no pitching)
Colorado Rockies (expect Helton to be moved by Deadline)
NL WILDCARD
St. Louis Cardinals
New York Mets
Los Angeles Dodgers
Philadelphia Phillies
