    Superstar Prospect Jeff Maier

Heard he might be moved to the outfield. He has gold glove potential out there apparently, he robs homeruns like nobody's business.

If he makes the majors and ends p in a game against the ORioles, they need to hit him in the ribs with a fastball out of principle.

"Jeff Maier"? WTF. Same kid? He's now a prospect? Wow. He needs to be a teammate with Jeter.

Yeah, he was on "The Hotlist" yesterday and talked about what it was like to be the center of attention for a week.

Just imagine if the Orioles had been up to bat and that was a Oriole fan who caught that ball... Well, I guess there wouldn't be much to imagine because the person wouldn't have survived the walk back to his seat.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
