    Rangers Showalter's Outta There!

So does this mean the Rangers will win the World Series since the Yanks and DBacks won the year after he left?

They need more talent to get to the WS.

They already have the talent. It's just either not fully developed (Ex: Diamond/Danks/Volquez) or didn't perform to their potential (Ex: Wilkerson/Blalock/Eaton).
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

Early discussion threw the name Rudy Jaramillo out there as a possibility.

Rudy wouldn't be a bad choice at all. The guys over at Rotoworld suggest Dusty Baker, but noted that Danks, Diamond and Volquez would end up sucking with Dusty as their manager.

It's about time this fool is out of here. Wakamatsu I wouldn't mind so much, maybe Rudy, but I'd really like to see if Rusty Greer wants to give managing a shot.

Buck has a reputation of being an "abrasive" manager. He builds a team and wears out his welcome. He did it with the Yankees and D'Backs (as was stated) and maybe now the Rangers will be ready to take the next step.
    We'll see, won't we?
As to his replacement, there are some guys out there with experience, but giving the job to someone like Rusty Greer would be a solid choice. He is well-known and liked in the area and is respected by the players.
