    Giants astrics on players records

i'm a giants fan as you can tell by my username, i have heard from media, baseball fans and sports writers that there should be an atric on bonds HR records

my arguement is that if your gona put an atric on bonds then u should put an atric on all of these players then

babe ruth- u guys might think i'm crazy but i'm jus saying back in the earley 1900s MLB did not play against the negro leagues, all of the media were friendly with the players n the media only posted what the team wanted them to post exception the black sox scandal

gaylord perry- the guy used grease from his hair so he can put an extra cut or spin on the ball so isn't that considered cheating?

roger marris- the guy hit 61 hrs in 1961 n his previous high was like 30 something, so why cant we put an astric on his record?

i'm not for cheating, i'm just stating my arguement of being fair and constistant and no double standards

Putting an asterisk on any (or all) of Bonds's statistics would serve no purpose other than overstating the obvious conclusion that the public has already come to.

I don't understand the parallel between Bonds and Ruth or Maris.

You want to put an asterisk next to Maris' record because he went from 39 HR one year to 61 HR the next year?

    I once had astric sex.

It made me pretty sore aftwerwards, but it was worth it.

that doesn't mean shit to me

because if my friends get cought in anything because there my friends so that means i'm involved?

bonds unknowingly took roids based on what his personal trainer provided

can anyone prove that steriods help u hit HRs? are there any scientifical facts that prove it? media makes a big deal about steriods n homerun when those 2 are irevelent from eachother

you guys also dont see that the giants got a new stadium and ever since that stadium opened up bonds HR have gone up because its a semi hitters park

    Fact #1 - Before 1998, Bonds hit a HR every 16 at-bats. From 1998 on, Bonds hit a HR every 8 at-bats.

Fact #2 - In his "earlier" years, McGwire averaged a HR every 14 at-bats. In his steroid years, McGwire averaged a HR every 8.1 at-bats.

    Fact #3 - In his non-steroid years, Sosa averaged a HR every 15.07 at-bats. From 1998 on, Sosa averaged a HR every 10.6 at-bats.

    And those are the facts.

My point is: I'm not going to get involved in another Barry Bonds drug discussion. My thoughts are already summed up in the post that I linked for you. If you want to know what I think, start there.

This thread is not about whether or not Barry is a user. It's about putting an "astric" (sic) on Barry's stats. That's a question I've already answered, and agreed with you on. On different grounds, but I agree nonetheless.

49 was already a steroid year for him, by the way.
