There's nothing to say he has. If something comes out that makes me believe he has, I will change my vote.

This is also based on my beliefs and circumstantial evidence and/or reasonable doubt.

If Larkin goes, take Chipper Jones and Jeff Kent along the ride.

Kent has a shot when he retires sadly. He has more HRs, RBI and a better BA than Ryne Sandberg. Ryne was far greater with the glove but Kent has been one of the best second baseman with the bat over the past decade. Both have a MVP. Just a thought and a scary one.

I threw out a name with comparable offensive numbers to Larkin, really. Cause I don't know why he's even on this poll, except for the high number of reds fans and DK loves to please older men. Yanno.

Sandberg's a 10-time consecutive All-Star however. Kent's a nobody who lucked out with his MVP because the media hates Barry.

Like fan voting should be taken into HoF cred, woohoo, let's put in Ichiro then.

Yep they hated him so damn much they gave him four more MVP's AFTER Kent's. Real smart there Dirty. Kent earned that MVP.

Larkin's .815 career OPS as a SS helps him out. I mean, Ozzie Smith had a career .665 OPS. Lark wasn't a bad fielder, either.

His hit total, homerun total, SB total don't really scream Hall. Sure, maybe his glove and his MVP get brownie points. But he doesn't stand out from a host of other hitters from this era.

He had a couple nice SB seasons. Plus, the hititng statistic that matters most is OPS. OBP/SLG are both part of that. Larkin made up for his relative lack of "major" power with his great ability to get on base (.371 career OBP).

There's no way that Kent was more valuable than Bonds in 2000. Come on now.

Roger Clemens in the Hall? He's nowhere near as good as Cy Young.
