Catcher Jason Kendall hits like a half-drunk receptionist at an office softball game. However, he does “handle the pitching staff well,”which means he catches the ball when they throw it. The bullpen boasts “everyday” Eddie Guardado, Rafael Soriano and some idiot named JJ Putz, who will get the ball in blowout games after the shortstop pitches.
