Which team has had the best offseason thus far?

Vote now or forever hold your peace. There's only so many poll slots, had to leave out the Red Sox and Braves.

I really dont think the White Sox got better. Thome had alot of health questions and they gave up a damn fine CF for him. I voted for the Mets, added alot of power and upgraded the bullpen.

Voted for the Mets, but I like what the Red Sox did too.

I'm goin with the Padres. Cameron is a beast, resigning Hoffman and Giles was big too.

Mets are overpaid and overrated. Will go to Shea just to see them stink it up.

i'm going with the homer vote, since JP addressed 3 of the 4 needs the Jays had (#2 SP to pitch behind Halladay, a closer, and a left-handed bat to hit for 20 HR power)

Chose the phillies, since they went and got good character/chemistry guys in Rowand and Nunez. And now they can put an end to the Marlon Byrd-Endy Chavez nightmares in CF.

I went with the Padres for 2 reasons

    1) I'm a homer when it comes to polls

and 2) I didn't think we'd get even 2 of our 3 big FAs back, but we did. Not to mention I liked the Cameron deal

the only stink on the Padres offseason thus far is the Loretta deal. But even that one isn't quite as bad as it appears at first because Loretta had a bad year last year and Josh Barfield is ready to go.

I went with the Mets at the business end of it. They addressed their biggest holes by getting a first baseman (Delgado), a closer (Wagner), and a catcher (Lo Duca). Plus they dumped all of Cameron's salary on the Pads for Nady who is a good utility type guy. Scary thing is they aren't done yet.

Where is the Reds in this poll, I mean they by far had the best offseason, Dave Williams is the best lefty in the league and Womack shall return to 2004 form being in the same division as he was then... Womack will be the piece that brings it all together just ask O' Bri... wait you all are serious about this.

They paid a ton to do it, but I think the Blue Jays had the best offseason thus far.
