Cool with me, although the orders are messed up below the winners IMO. Where the hell is Blanton?

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

I don't think he really distinguished himself from Cano or Gomes. I mean you could put them 2-3-4 in any way but eh. I like the A's and I wasn't really impressed with Blanton, honestly. Now me likes Haren!

and go RYAN HOWARD, YES **** YOU WILLY.

    Haren isn't a rookie.

    Woot! No Francouer .

I picked Blanton-Francis in ST, so I can't complain with these guys. Cano, Gomes and Tavares were also deserving of their spots.

    Finally the tabulations!

Mmm hmm ... the Rockies' voter must have put Francis #2 and Barmes #3. How biased.

What are you talking about? Blanton started out slow but finished in the top 25 in ERA for MLB and top 10 in ERA for the AL. Haren was top 35 for MLB and top 15 for the AL. If Blanton got more run support he'd have more wins. Blanton was 12 - 12, while Haren was 14 - 12 (he was 1 - 7 to start the season).

    No surprises here.

Wily Taveras should have won it. But I have no problem with Howard or Francoeur winning it.

Congrats to all the winners. I too thought Taveras should have won it since he did more but Howard filled some big shoes. Street was just a no brainer.

A dollar says Haren has a better season in 2006, and a better career.
