Dye had an average in the mid-400's (want to say .435), a HR (game 3), GWHit tonight.

I thought Crede was robbed and that Fox once again got the MVP wrong. Last year they snubbed Foulke for the bigger name and they did it again. Dye might not be a big name but is bigger than Crede to most people. Crede's defense alone should have gotten this one but Fox has a short memory and went with the guy with the GW hit.

As an A's fan, it's galling to see Jermaine Dye win World Series MVP. After he didnt do much of anything the last two years he was here....

Anyways, congrats to the WhiteSox. Time for the Cubbies to break their curse now.

it was really 2003 that he didn't do much and that was because of the injury...

2002 and 2004 were decent, maybe not for the price, but they were decent:

    Averaging about 23 homers, 83 RBIs, 130 hits, 80 runs, 28 doubles, 50 walks, .792 OPS...decent

    Decent's the keyword...

I wonder where our A's would have gone with this year's Dye hitting behind Chavy...

I don't ever ever ever EVER want to hear Ozzie Guillen or any of the White Sox singing that Journey song "Don't stop Belieeeeeeeeeeeevin' ..." again. Never again. Worst. Rendition. Ever.
