No doubt it goes to Joe Crede. He has made play after play and has saved potential runs not to mention his two homers.

What a pathetic slide from Everett!

Another chance for the Stros to get some runs with runners on first and second and Ensberg up to bat. If he was ever going to get a big hit in this series, it would have to be now.

Ensberg of course struck out but now the Stros are threatening with two out and Lane up with the bases loaded.

Imagine this if you will. Another Astro (Lane) strikes out with RISP. Astros do not deserve a win at this point. Phil Garner is right about this team, fouling off the mistakes and hitting the pitcher's pitch.

Crede gets a huge hit as now there are runners on second and third with two out. Crede keeps piling on the MVP resume.

Ugh oh. Leadoff hit for the Sox.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Lidge comes into a scoreless game in the top of the 8th and gives up a leadoff single.
