I think Loretta is very underrated. This guy can really hit.

Ouch, does Klesko still have any speed? He stole 20 twice in the early '00s...

I don't think he has a lot of speed, not really a big threat to steal. But he takes the walk very nicely which is why he is batting 2nd.

They try to send Klesko, and Leretta flies out to CF.

Horrible camera angle on that by ESPN, too. Following the runner instead of showing the pitch.

They are not too loud are they. I wish they would get more hype. These are in fact the best fans in baseball as well. But then again, we are not watching a Yankees Red Sox game either.

I think these fans are expecting a pushover win. I don't think they realize how good this SD team is.

No runs no hits one left. 22 pitches from Carpenter 12 strikes.

They may soon feel it by the time the 7th inning comes and they have a tie game.

I disagree. The best fan are the ones in the northeast that go crazy for the team's home games. I think the best fans are in NY and Boston. Just my $0.02.

Could be true, but I really love it how much respect the STL fans have for the game and for the oppossing team.
