Still doesn't mean Lopez is better by any means.

First, calling him a 1 year wonder has to do with what he's done in his career so far; this is his first "good" year...so as of now, he is a 1 year wonder until he proves otherwise.Originally Posted by missionhockey21
Second, the problem with your stat method is which 1346 ABs or Rollins are you choosing? You're leaving out potential ABs that would increase (in this case) since your career OPS is less than his actual career OPS. Unfortunately, life doesn't work that way and you can't selectively choose it like that. Why don't I just pick 500 ABs that include all of Rollins' extra base hits and then 500 of Lopez's and make sure it include all of his singles? Then who will have the higher OPS?
Why was Felipe Lopez even brought into JR's hitting streak thread in the first place? o_O

I always think of the first round bust for the Grizzlies/Spurs/Wizards in basketball when I hear the name Felipe Lopez.
Useless info.

I need to go round up a group of A's and Braves fans. To even up things.

To truly "even things up" those new A's and Braves fans would have to be homers
Enough with the Reds talk.
