Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
Rosenthal: Carlos Correa speaks out, ripping Cody Bellinger, passionately defending José Altuve and saying the Astros deserve their 2017 title. Getting upset at somebody questioning the legitimacy of their title won, a day after profusely apologizing for cheating.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
Should be fun... what is the over/under on Astros bench-clearers this year?

Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
I saw somebody mentioned that Kershaw threw 39 sliders with just ONE swing-and-miss in that game. I just remember being frustrated by how supposedly disciplined their hitters were.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
The Red Sox are making out like bandits right now in the PR department.
Everyone's raking Houston across the coals (and rightfully so) but we keep forgetting that Boston still has their own investigation pending.
Perhaps they get their share once that's final, but it seems like they're the forgotten scoundrels at the moment.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
I'm torn between wanting to learn that Alex Cora, Steve Pearce and Company actually cheated us out of the 2018 title and not wanting to see Mookie suddenly turn into a bum now that he doesn't know which pitch is coming.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
Haha. That got me grinning this morning. Thanks.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
Well, I mean, Mookie was still good before 2018
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
Red Sox lawyers told a judge that the team disagrees with some of the commissioner's office's findings of their investigation of the Red Sox, even though the findings have yet to be officially released. So, the team must have been shown the report and found some shit and are now doing damage control.
Re: Cheating Scandal Mega-thread
So much for that. They get away with losing just a 2nd round pick. It must be a Boston thing to throw low level employees under the bus after helping their team cheat to win.

I like how Correa continues to be petty as though he's a victim of unjust shaming from opposing players.
