That isn't baseball.
This reminds me of all those fagget ballot measures (e.g. a ban on grocery plastic bags) we get in this state every election year that only a Giants fan would support.

LOOGYs are a stupid waste of time.
I still remember the time Bruce Bochy brought in Eddie Oropesa to intentionally walk Bonds and then pulled him.
I agree with both of these opinions. I hate LOOGYs but I think the rules are a little drastic.

I don't think that comparison flies.
Teams almost never go for it on 4th down in their own territory.
Bringing in a LOOGY to face a left handed bat in the middle of an inning isn't anywhere close to that automatic.
And yeah, my example was extreme but I hate it just as much when they bring in someone to face one batter regardless.

Dodgers punted their offseason so they can save for Vlad Jr.'s free agency. 4D chess.
Fuck, who am I kidding? The Jays will probably lock him to a 10-year deal tomorrow.
Re: 2018-19 Off-Season Hot Stove
Dodgers' offense sorely missing Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.

What do you know, Caleb "Turd" Ferguson came out of the pen and faced 3 batters without getting an out. All the dumbasses who support the new rule must have never watched their teams' bullpen fail before.
