MLB Favorite and Least Favorite On-Air TV (or Radio) Personalities for MLB

I really enjoy MLB Network and most of the personalities that are within that whole sphere. ESPN has some decent people on their crew but as a whole, I prefer MLB Network hands down. I enjoy MLB Network so much that I got PlayStation Vue just for that reason.

I would say my favorites from all networks are; Christopher Russo, Matt Vasgersian, Buster Olney, Tim Kurkjian, Michael Kay (homer pick), Don Orsillo, Brian Anderson, Vin Scully (all-time favorite, no surprise, I know) and all the women of MLB Network. They did a stellar job getting some top shelf women for their network. For example, Kelly Nash, Heidi Watney, Alexa Datt, and Lauren Shehadi.

Least favorites would be; Eric Byrnes, Keith Law (comes off very arrogant prickish to me), Jessica Mendoza, Ken Singleton, Ron Darling.. Also not a huge fan of David Ross when I watched the Mariners-Indians game that he was working the other night.

    What are yours?

Matt Vasgersian is definitely one of my favorites.

I remember hating the Diamondbacks commentary team a few years ago. I don't know if they have the same team today.

I miss Padres broadcasts before Vasgersian went national.

Least favorite: The Giants' Krukow and Kuiper, and the Dbacks' Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenley.

Sure, I'm biased, but unless you're a shit-for-brains homer fan of these teams, you shouldn't like them much either. And I don't hear people hate on Joe Davis, Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra, Charley Steiner and Rick Monday for the fact that they work for the Dodgers, if you want to go that route.

I'm not much of a fan of Arizona's crew either.

I just remembered that every time I watch a Nationals game, I am reminded how much I hate their crew, too. Anyone else?

Haven't heard a Nats broadcast, but I looked them up, and it says their color guy is F.P. Santangelo, who got his start as part of Krukow and Kuiper's crew.

The SF broadcast team is why Trump won.

ken singleton in the least favorites? i know hes gotten senile lately, but him and jim kaat were absolutely marvelous for a number of years. til michael kay came along. i am not a fan of michael kay. and i despise cone. o'neills meh. i dig flaherty, and i liked al leiter.

i used to hate sterling, on the yankees radio broadcast. but i couldnt imagine a world he doesnt exist. the unintentional comic relief is absolutely marvelous. unfortunately, he usually does a very terrible job of actually telling you whats happening in the game. minor detail though, yea?

Look out! That was an honest mistake. I really like him. Bummed that this is his last year.

I could never stand the Pirates play by play guys. They would be calling for headshots because someone missed inside 2 inches. One year the Pirates pitchers hit like 8 Reds (Including Phillips), Cutch gets hit and you would think the Reds sharted in their Gatorade.

In another category: I wish Marty would retire, I miss the Marty that worked with Joe. This Marty is just BAD, his son isn't much better.

Listening to the 2017 season highlight calls on MLB The Show 18, I have to say all the play-by-play guys pretty much suck, except Charley Steiner. Before you say I'm biased, I can tolerate Joe Buck, and he called the Houston Astros' World Series final out. But the Nats' guy especially is vanilla ass.
