Yay, Kenley shits the bed again. Remind me again why'd the Dodgers had to nix their deal for Aroldis Chapman?

Vs the A's. I couldn't hit him to save my life in the old MLB games on XBox.

That was a good trade the White Sox made for Shields. Big game James, right?

Not a bad debut for Timmy. Picked him up today in my fantasy baseball league and I'll take the performance he put out today. Would eventual like to see him miss a few more bats and record some more strikeouts though.

That should work perfect if you keep him on the (only against the A's) rotation.

Someone I know arbitrarily is throwing out names for the Tigers to trade for, like Teheran. There have been reports saying it would be a good fit, but they have something very specific in mind. The person I know wanted to offer up Cameron Maybin and I laughed at him saying its not even close. Suddenly I became a Debbie Downer and a terrible person because after I said it would take someone like Castellanos, I didn't offer up alternative trade targets.

I really forget how bad some fans are. I guess communities like this spoil me

    I love sports cynics.

Yasmani Grandal is hitting .204 on the season, but he hits 3 HRs against the Padres in one game and some people complain like we gave up Babe Ruth.

The Kemp trade sucked for us. But it sucked because the Padres now have to pay a DH 18.25 mil per year through 2019 to stumble around the outfield and miss fly balls, hardly ever get on base, and maybe hit a few home runs here and there. It didn't suck for anyone they gave up.

But Grandal can frame pitches and hit 3 HRs in a game against his former team, so I suppose that makes him Mike Piazza after all.

Frame pitches and hit home runs are neither things AJ Ellis can do, so compared to him, Grendel is like Mike Piazza.
