I had the pleasure of sitting down to interview this guy when he was in the minors. He was very gracious and remembered me when I saw him at Twinsfest a couple of years later. Harmon Killebrew was one of his idols and he told me one of the greatest moments in his life was when he got to meet and learn from Harmon.

I got to chance to speak with Mike and get a ball signed before a spring game in Ft Myers several years back. Players always get extra points with me when they are extra nice to the kiddies, too.
