Welp, with Puig's trade value hitting rock bottom, I would think Friedman won't trade him this offseason since that would go against everything he learned from from being a stockbroker.

Fuck, who I am kidding? I can't wait until he trades Puig to the Mets for Jon Niese and Kirk Nieuwenhuis or some other dogshit.

Well, Jim Johnson's already made a fool out of Billy Beane and his protege Farhan Zaidi, and given the trend of Beane wannabes landing GM jobs, there's no shortage of suckers should Johnson put up midseason All Star numbers again next year.

Red Sox win the battle for David Price , big contract, he can continue to bite the Rays on the ass.

Typical Dombrowski. He'll deliver the man, but will leave the organization saddled for years to come.

He's got enough young good players at key positions that they'll cost him little, and he'll be able to afford paying out the contract.
Or he leaves in 2018 when he has a chance.

They're just trying to bring Papi home some hardware in his last season anyways.
