Re: 2015 Post Season
Counterpoint: Two years ago, the Dodgers hadn't just beaten a streaky team on the road to force a deciding game with Greinke on the mound.
Also, you may have a skewed few of America, bc no one I know who isn't an SFG fan has any interest in ever rooting for the Giants to win. And no one on the east coast cared much about McCourt other than being happy when MLB forced him out bc maybe it meant they'd force the Wilpons out too (nope).

Re: 2015 Post Season
It's the battle of the cynics!
"My team is going to lose!"
"No, my team is going to lose!"

Re: 2015 Post Season

Re: 2015 Post Season
Maybe they'll both lose? I hope not though.

Cole Hamels is 7-1 with a 3.66 ERA since coming to the Rangers. This will be his 15th career playoff start. He is 7-4 with a 3.05 ERA in the 14 previous outings, including three World Series appearances.
Marcus Stroman went 4-0 with a 1.67 earned-run average after rejoining the rotation in mid-September.
Blue Jays reliever Aaron Loup missed Game 4 because of a family matter, and Gibbons said Tuesday he did not know if Loup would be back for Game 5. David Price pitched three innings of relief in Game 4, Gibbons was leaning toward not making Price available for the deciding game.
If they lose Game 5, it could mark the last career appearance of Blue Jays reliever LaTroy Hawkins, who at 42 is the oldest player in the Majors right now and has hinted at possible retirement after the season.

Re: 2015 Post Season
Just when you think you couldn't possibly see new weird things in a game, here comes more umpire shenanigans.

the last inning and change has been absolutely ridiculous

Re: 2015 Post Season
I understand the anger, but showering the field is never good, could hurt someone including your own people. At least the bench clearing didn't get too far out of hand.
