    Fuck you, Oakland, for getting my hopes up when you went up 8-4 on SF and then choked while getting owned by Jarrett Parker like he's the next Barry Bonds. Now the ******s are gonna go on a 9-0 run.

    Joc Pederson is still looking like a fucking amateur at the plate. The worst part is that the Queen of Emotional Pieces Billie Plaschke lives to write another a fucking column just to remind us "I told you so!"

    @BillShaikin
    #Angels final attendance: 3,012,747. Angels and #Yankees only teams to sell 3 million tix 13 straight years.
    The Dodgers have sold 3 million tickets in every full season since 1992 - except 2011. Gee, I wonder what happened to the franchise that year.

    Congratulations to Max Scherzer on no hitting the play-off bound Mets. Only the 6th pitcher to throw 2 no hitters in a season.

    There are reports that Mark Buehrle will pitch two innings today against the Rays on one day's rest to achieve his 200 innings in 15 consecutive seasons and retire after the game. He is not expected to be on the post season roster.

    Papa Buehrle will be missed in Toronto if true.

    One team that has been no-hit twice in this season is guaranteed to make the NLCS.

    Ichiro allowed 1 run in an inning of relief. Still a better pitcher than Jim Johnson.

    When I looked into this a bit more, the Chicago writer Bruce Levine got this tidbit from the infamous "unnamed MLB official", so was likely just an opinion that was put forth as a fact. After the game Buehrle hadn't decided yet, but he has not been added to the ALDS roster.

    If it does happen he will be missed from the game.

    He had a better inning than Buehrle. Game 162 shenanigans.

    Aramis Ramirez announced his retirement.

    Tigers SS prospect JaCoby Jones has been suspended immediately, cutting short his assignment in the Arizona Fall League.
