But they're also having Joe Wieland start on Saturday so Brett Anderson can be pushed back to pitch against San Francisco. Ugh, whatever, both of them marginal cocks.

Good win against The Dream Team, considering we got nothing out of our 1-4 hitters. All the run production came from Grendel, Cold Carl, Uribe, and Joc.
Re: 2015 MLB Season random commentary
The Padres revamped offense has looked like last year's version the past 3 games.
It didn't help that Bud practically fielded last year's lineup yesterday.

Kind of amusing last night in the Rays telecast, our announcers are split on what they hope will happen when the Rays go to KC in July for their first meeting of the season. Dewayne Staats is hoping they settle down, Brian Anderson says they'll be real good and mad by then and the Rays will be ready.
Foster, I feel bad for Steve Tolleson, seems harsh to DFA the guy for an error, was he already on shaky ground with Gibbons??

It doesn't appear he had any issues with Gibbons, it's just that there had to be room made for Saunders, and that was the only move that worked? Others had called that was going to happen before it did, so I guess the writing was on the wall.
Also, why do we always lose to the Rays this season?

I saw later where they activated Saunders, Tolleson also batting just .200, so I guess it wasn't just the epic boo boo last night.

I can't speak for last week, but last night it was the return of "Loney Power".
