You won't get any wars from me. As great as Hoffman was I get the stigma when it comes to relief pitchers getting into the HOF.

If anyone outside of Mariano is going to be a 1st ballot it'll be Hoffman but I'm not sure how much of a shoo-in that really is.

You also can't ignore Billy Wagner next season either. He had a great career, just wasn't as long. I'd say Junior and Piazza next year get in. There will be a bump for Bagwell and Schilling, possibly Raines too. And then Hoffman and Wagner in the mix. I also have no idea when or if a large contingent of voters finally soften their stance against Bonds and or Clemens. So that said, I'd only say Junior and Piazza. I'd vote for everyone I mentioned, if it I had a vote though.

I figure you'll have a hand full of guys that will never vote for "Likely PED users" ever, but once one of those guys (likely Piazza) gets in then you'll start to see Bonds, McGwire, Schilling, etc get induction.
