Disappointed with Biggio not making it, but I can't argue with any of the chosen.

Wondering if the Jacque Jones vote is a "protest" vote, someone like many, disgruntled about the process and rules so he makes a joke vote.

Well, that brings up the interesting thing. Biggio missed by two votes. If two of those "protest voters" had instead chosen NOT to vote, I believe Biggio would have had the percentage to get in. So, the protestors hurt deserving candidates.

Exactly, but "protesters" are sometimes so blinded by their "cause" they don't see the other side. That can also be said for all issues big and small. In my opinion those "joke/protest votes" should be remembered so that if a voter is continuously making them, their privilege is rescinded. There are other channels to try to voice your opinions on the process. The best "protest" is to say "no I don't want to be one of the voters until it's changed" so that someone else who values the privilege and is willing to abide by the current process can cast an informed vote. Just my two cents.

Still think Biggio will get in...eventually.
