    Yeah this is a large joke, I mean lets base our rules on a time period when there was less than 20 teams, and not change the rules as baseball expands to larger numbers. Theres the reason we have such a log jam now-a-days. Lets allow the BBWAA to rule with an iron fist over who can and can't vote, allowing for numerous unqualified individuals to have a say.

    I am pretty sure we here at B/S are better off making HoF votes than others that the BBWAA allow too.

    Every year there's at least one wtf vote like the Jaques Jones vote.

    It's probably somebody who knows Jaques or something giving him a token vote knowing it won't amount to anything.

    That doesn't make it any less stupid, but that's probably what it is.
