Thank goodness this is on a forum where no one can throw something at me... But why not play A-Rod at short if Jeter is going to be out long term? May inspire and have him rekindle old magic!

And the Tigers take game 1

(Detroit's the only team left I wouldn't mind seeing win it all.)

I've got it worst. We get the international feed, Gary Thorne in the booth. He answers questions from viewers around the world. One guy from Sweden tonight wrote in to ask "Who is the Wayne Gretzky of baseball?"

That's actually sounds funny and interesting.

    Re: 2012 MLB Playoff Ramblings

It just dawned on me, this ALCS is a meeting of the two teams that beat the Padres in the World Series.

Meanwhile, the NLCS is my most hated division rival against the team that knocked the Padres out of the playoffs the last two times they were there.

I feel like you had a Mofo moment there, minus 26 f-bombs. But that is a curious conundrum for you Leo. I'd stick with the Tigers.I guess.>_>

one guy doesnt make a lineup. if one guy continues to come through time after time, number 1 hes due to fail eventually. two, it means 8 other guys fail miserably every other time... and now with jeter out, thats especially true.

case in point... ichiro went 4-6, ibanez had the game tying homer... and nobody else did a goddamn thing, and we still lost at the end of the day.
