Other than that, the draft went exactly as I thought though the top 8...
In fact, I fully expected Correa at 8, and Appel at 1.
I suppose I should've posted that.
I am interested to see what the white sox do with their first pick, SP, MR, or OF?
Reds pick throws 99 MPH, but is a raw HS talent.
I thought this draft was pretty weak but thought the Astros and Twins made the right moves. I was very pleased with the Giants pick as well. One thing is for sure, Buxton is a terrible interview.
I like the Buxton pick. The kid could develop into a real monster player. He appears to have all the tools needed to be a real star, but he is very raw. I wouldn't expect him to see the 40-man roster for at least 3 years.
The Astros seem to be telling Boras to shove it.

Yeah, saw him do that on set lol
I'm kind of 'meh' on Almora. He's got great makeup, and is possibly our new top prospect, but my mind was set on picking an arm if one of the top fell to us.
Fucking Appel (Boras) asking for 7+mil. I about crapped my pants when I saw he fell to us.

Watching our former unsigned 6th, 25th, and 27th round draftees all get picked in first round this year just reaffirmed that talent evaluation has been the least of our problems. Wish I could say the same about ownership.
I love thsi thread!!
Paco Rodriguez becomes the 1st player from the 2012 Draft to reach the Major Leagues. Yeah buddy.
