Yeah, but I also realize there's not a snowball's chance in hell they're getting him.

    Re: 2012 Trade Deadline

Any contending team would be crazy not to check in on Hamels, whether they have a chance to acquire him or not. So can you blame the Angels or Giants for not ..making a call? Especially since the Angels are having issues in their rotation and Lincecum is still out to lunch in the Giants' rotation. Doesn't mean either are locks to get him.

As long as the Empire and Nation don't get him, I'm good.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

The rumor mill has been spewing that the White Sox have Greinke on their radar, the A's are looking for a SS and the Red Sox are aggressively pursuing Dempster.

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Red Sox and Marlins are discussing a deal that would send Carl Crawford and a prospect to Miami for Hanley Ramirez and Heath Bell.
    Wow!

Considering how arrogant Angels fans were before the start of this season about how deep their rotation appeared to be, excuse me if I don't take pity in their plight. As for the Giants, I am amused by the possibility that Timmeh could be demoted.

I meant if they get an upgrade for a starting pitcher.

Braves: Acquired LHP Paul Maholm, OF Reed Johnson and cash considerations from the Chicago Cubs for RHP Arodys Vizcaino and RHP Jaye Chapman.

Pirates: Acquired OF Travis Snider from the Toronto Blue Jays for RHP Brad Lincoln.

Rangers: acquired Cubs catcher Geovany Soto on Monday night for Double-A Frisco right-hander Jacob Brigham

Mariners: acquire OF Eric Thames from Blue Jays in exchange for RHP Steve Delabar.

Dodgers: acquire RHP Brandon League from Mariners in exchange for OF Leon Landry, RHP Logan Bawcom. (I really Like this deal for the dodgers)

I like what the Cubs did. If Vizcaino can recover from TJ surgury, we just added a serious pitching prospect to the farm.

I was hoping Snider was in a package for Garza

Braves got a red hot starter and a damn good 4th OFer. Great move on their part!!

Huntington said he wouldn't trade for a rental and he meant it. I like the move from that angle but Snider has really got to start resembling the hitter he is in AAA.

I don't see Soto as any kind of upgrade over Torrealba

I love the Mariners picking up Thames. Not sure why the Jays are ridding themselves of two OFers

League is a good fit for LA
