    MLB 2012 MLB Milestones

    It's a new year for more milestones. Here's a look at some of the potential milestones 2012 has in store.

    (The number in parenthesis is how many they are from the milestone)
    650 Home runs – Alex Rodriguez (21)
    450 Home runs - Albert Pujols (5), Vlad Guerrero (1)
    400 Home runs - David Ortiz (22), Adam Dunn (35), Paul Konerko (4)
    300 Home runs – Ryan Howard (14), Miguel Cabrera (23)
    250 Home runs - Derek Jeter (10)
    500 Doubles – Alex Rodriguez (5,) Derek Jeter (8)
    100 Triples – Jose Reyes (1)
    450 Stolen Bases – Carl Crawford (23), Ichiro (27)
    1,000 Walks – Derek Jeter (6), Albert Pujols (25)
    200 Wins – Roy Halladay (12) – should have that by June
    300 Saves – Francisco Rodriguez (9)
    200 Saves – Brian Fuentes (1), Huston Street (22), Brian Wilson (30)
    2,000 Strikeouts – Kevin Milwood (24), Roy Halladay (60), Livan Hernandez (72)


    Carlos Lee hit his 350th HR last night.

    Felix Hernandez was the first pitcher to pitch 8 innings, allow no runs and have 12+ strikeouts and have his team lose in ten years. Mark Mulder was the last.

    Andre Ethier hasn't thrown enough bags of baseball onto the field in a fit of rage, slammed enough water bottles back to the fans who threw it at his direction, accused enough white teammates of being racist, nor torn either one of his ACL's while being restrained by his manager for arguing with the umpire, to justify his trade to the Dodgers.
