The Captain stands alone in 10th place on the hits list passing Willie Mays. (Good for Derek, Rays won the game..yay!)

With a pretty decent crowd for a Wed. in a game just for pride, the crowd stood shouting for Fernando Rodney to come in to close the game out. Maddon went with Joel Peralta but after he got 2 outs he then let up a single to Wieters. The crowd on their feet continuing the chant, Maddon smirks as he calls to the bull pen. Rodney recorded the last out to his incredible season to better solidify the single season lowest ERA with 0.60 since Dennis Eckersley's 0.61 in 1990.

Oops, I guess forgot to add the word "reliever" for all the one day old baseball fans on this forum.
