Cards take Game 1!!! Good game as pitching was the story for once.

The state of Texas is now 1-9 all-time in World Series games.

Looks like we might have another low scoring affair. Both pitchers are looking good the first time through the lineup.

Just shows you can never tell when it comes to these series, I figured high scoring games.

Cards were three outs away and have now blown the lead. TLR over managed bringing Rhodes in to face Hamilton. They needed a strikeout there so pulling Motte made no sense.

What a dumb move to take Motte out.

    Get it together Feliz!

Huge loss for the Cards! Rangers took advantage in the 9th and won the game. If only Pujols catches that throw, Kinsler would have been meat at third. Oh well, now on to warmer weather.

You gotta think TLR is responsible for another loss, right?

Berkman will DH with Craig playing RF and Napoli will play first, Torreabla will catch and Young will DH in Game 3
