I think I'm sick of hearing about the Saux/Yanks rivalry...some day I'll move away from the east coast and never, ever have to hear about it again

I'm definitely ready for my Reds to shock the world and make the playoffs.

    That's right.

    You heard it here first.

Good call CRF! Reds vs. Mets on ESPN Apr. 4th by the way. (Opening Day).

I am very pumped about this season. New board, new season, cannot wait to see what transpires this year.

And no one can call me a homer.

I was very negative about the team last season and predicted a poor showing... as redsrbetter can confirm.

    Let's see

CRF: Pessimistic is a too light of a word for what you were last year. I <3 Walt Jocketty.

As for Opening Night, I think Yankees take the first game, low scoring. Then the Sox take the next two.

I'm excited too. I know the A's probably won't be too competitive but I'm looking forward to watching our youngsters develop.

I think Yanks take Sunday's game. I don't feel like predicting a score.

Jocketty is awesome. You know that will NEVER change.

Living in New Jersey, I know where you are coming from and I share the same feeling. It stinks when I have to read the papers whenever both teams face each other and all. That's one of my big motivations to why I want to move out of the East Coast and to the Midwest.

It does not help that ESPN overhypes these two teams in their programming. I don't even watch Baseball Tonight anymore because the show is about the Yankees and Red Sox. You would think they would cover all the 32 teams, but they really don't. It's all Yankees and Red Sox all the time. It makes me sick and now you see books about the rivalry at bookstores.

    UGH!

Oh, and I'm so psyched to start Fantasy baseball. Can't forget that. The two most happiest days of baseball: The first day of fantasy baseball and the last day of fantasy baseball.

I can't wait either, I am going to the Braves opener as my birthday present.

I feel like we can actually contend for the division this time.
