MLB Alomar, Blyleven are in the Hall

Roberto Alomar, Bert Blyleven get into Baseball Hall of Fame - ESPN

Alomar got in with 90% of the ballots while Blyleven only had 79%. Where was that 90% last year for Alomar? The HOF induction is on my birthday so I might just have to go I wonder which hat Alomar will have in Cooperstown.

I wish the votes were public so we can ridicule them specifically. I would be inclined to ridicule them even more if it turns out that some whack jobs voted for BJ Surhoff or Marquis Grissom, and not a Jeff Bagwell.

An ESPN news editor by the name of Barry Stanton is one of the two voters for BJ Surhoff. The word is Stanton used to cover Surhoff's hometown.
