    Astros For Sale

Owner Drayton McLane putting his Houston Astros up for sale - ESPN

Mark Cuban is not interested in buying the team so I say we all throw some money at it and buy this franchise!!

Your driving range + a few joints of your best stuff should be enough to get it done.

I'll start selling kids from work. Child labour will get us there.

McLane reportedly wants to sell the Astros for $800 million, which is absurd. That's all I got to say.

I'll sell my kids as well. I think we can generate enough profit in a weeks time.

Asking for $800 million when it is only worth $400 million. I think McLane has his pants tailor-made because he's got some balls.

I believe Mark Cuban was interested in buying the Rangers only because owning the Rangers in addition to the Mavericks would have given him more leverage for a mega TV deal in Dallas. The Astros, being in Houston, do nothing for him.

Start high and negotiate down. Basic business sense. His group is probably looking around 600-650 million.

450 million of that pays for Carlos Lee's meals.

When his asking price starts at $800 million, there's nowhere to negotiate but down.
