Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
I only see Reefer and Giantsfanatic. Is Realmofo hallucinating again?
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
I wasn't referring to Giants fans on this message board, obviously.
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
I belong to many Giants boards and no one is saying anything but Halladay being deserving.
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
Halladay deserved it, Lincecum would have made it interesting if he hadn't struggled in August, but hey it shows Halladay remained consistent through out the year, and Lincecum didn't. And Halladay deserved it because of that.
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
I had my ZWR shirt on today. I think this has something to do with it.

They're hanging out with all the Padres fans who apparently think Clayton Richard is the next Nolan Ryan and all the Chargers fans who think Buster Davis is the next Jerry Rice.

I'm going by the early comments that Giants fans left under the AP story. Eventually they got flagged for low ratings and some of their fellow fans stepped in to defend themselves against the idiots.
Phils' Halladay unanimously wins NL Cy Young Award - MLB - Yahoo! Sports
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
But pretty much on any Giants blog, you'll find them putting down the Cy Young as a consolation prize for Doc not getting the job done against the Giants.

Except the voting is before the playoffs.

still waiting for Buster to prove he's the better LSU wide receiver than Dwayne Bowe like the overzealous Chargers fans predicted.
Re: ...and the 2010 _______ award(s) goes to.....
I have been on Giants boards all day and haven't seen one Giants fan say anything close to that. Most Giants fans aren't like the ones you find on obscure blogs and mlb.com forums.

I'm still waiting to find a Chargers board where these overzealous Chargers fans actually outnumbered those that weren't that enthused about the pick.
And finding a Chargers fan who likes Buster Davis now is like trying to find a non-cynical realmofotalk post.

That's ok. It only takes one Giants fan to post something like that and suddenly it means that's what most Giants fans think.

If the sample of overzealous Chargers fans outnumbered the less-than-enthused ones at the NFLforums, the ratio certainly wouldn't be less at a Chargers board.

You must have failed the statistics portion of math class if you think 4 is a big enough sample size to provide an adequate ratio that's indicative of the whole.
That's like asking 3 people in LA who they want for President in 2012 and trying to pass it off as majority opinion in the state of California.
