MLB Sparky Anderson dies at 76

Hall of Fame manager Sparky Anderson dies - ESPN

This to me tells the story of just how great he was:
Anderson was the first manager to win World Series titles in both leagues and the only manager to lead two franchises in career wins.
He was a fun guy to watch and the few times they did mic him up in the dugout, he was hilarious. Baseball lost one of the true great characters of baseball.

He was a great motivator. He was entertaining to watch and play for, as I understand.
Rest in peace, Sparky. Condolences to family and friends.

It is a sad day for baseball when one of it's greatest managers passes. RIP Sparky.

May he RIP, one of the greats. Kind of emotional watching Lasorda talk about his long time friend.
