MLB 2010 World Series: Texas Rangers vs San Francisco Giants

Who do you got winning and why? On one hand you have the Rangers who have never won a WS title in their history. Then on the other hand you have a team who has not one a title since moving to San Francisco. Both teams fighting to make history. It will be a classic AL vs NL matchup, offense vs pitching. This should be a good series and I for one am looking forward to it. Weird thing is that either way, Bengie Molina will get a WS ring.

If the Giants win, Molina will get a ring? How so? Is this something has been going on for a while?

Molina played enough games with the Giants and Rangers to warrant one.

The Rangers in 6. Lee has been so dominate and Hamilton is just a machine. I just don't see the Giants hitting enough to get it done versus Lee, Wilson, and Lewis.

I'm confused man, is their a rule or something? Or are you just saying that if the Giants do win the WS, they(the players and organization) would naturally give him a ring? For his contribution for the past 3 years? Kind of similar to what the RedSox did with Nomar in 04?

Nomar was part of that '04 team and helped them win games. Molina helped the team win early on so he would get a ring if the Giants win just as Chris Ray would get a ring if the Rangers win.

This is going to be a great series. Really I think its a coin flip between the two, but I have to go with the strong pitching of the Giants. Their arms were enough to take down what also was known to be a pretty strong lineup in the last round...

LooneyonFox: Mark Cuban should have sold the Mavericks and gone ALL IN with the Rangers. The only way he ever would have smelled a championship

To answer the question about Bengi Molina, yes he gets a ring regardless of who wins the series. The Giants have announced that he gets a full-share of their WS money and obviously the Rangers will do the same. It is a very classy move by the Giants, as Molina did a lot to help develop the young pitchers that they have now.
