    National League Halladay or Lincecum?

Many people are debating today just who had the better game, Halladay and his 8 K no-hitter or Lincecum with his 14 K's and two hits? Lincecum had 31 swing and misses and threw nine pitches in the second inning. Nine swing and misses later he was in the dugout. Halladay no-hit the NL's best offense and just threw nasty, nasty stuff and only had three 3-ball counts. Both were just great for lack of a better word but who had the best?

Halladay did something that's only been done once before in history.

As great as Timmy's performance was this is no contest.

Roy Halladay did something that hasn't been done since 1959 I think. Tim Lincecum had one impressive performance and both pitchers doing this in there first ever post season outing. Both were amazing, but my vote goes to Halladay.

Lincecum wasn't exactly crafty and painting corners. The Braves just failed to hit meatballs over the plate and Jason Heyward resembled Matt Kemp on pitches in the dirt.

    +1 Foster

I would say Halladay as it was his first postseason game, for his new team, and at home. There was a ton of pressure for him to shut down the Reds and he did just that. Of course Lincecum had pressure too, but I am amazed at Halladay's composure.

    Halladay no-hit the Reds offense.

    Reds offense > Braves offense.
