    Baseball Slant Baseball's Biggest Boner of the Year goes to.....


    MARK REYNOLDS

    Reynolds is the first regular position player to strikeout more times than his BA, 211 to .198. On top of this, he had more errors than he did doubles, 18 to 17!! This man played in 145 games and only managed 99 hits. He had a teribble .320 OBP. No need for polls. No need to vote. For all these reasons, this man gets the 2010 Baseball Boner of the Year Award. Kirk Gibson is praying this man gets traded.

    Definitely the biggest boner of the year in my book goes to the 1st base umpire who missed the call on Gallaraga's no hitter.

    Reynolds still had a better year than Justin Upton. Upton and Matt Kemp ruined my fantasy team in a 15-team league. And I thought they were a steal at the 15th and 16th picks.

    If nothing else, he looks just like NBA coach Larry Brown and just as beaten down.
