    BS Awards: NL Cy Young

The rest of the awards will be posted in pairs over the next couple of weeks to disperse things. The attention here falls on the NL. The pitching helped lead them to an all-star win. There's aces everywhere, even RA Dickey has had a big year. RA...Dickey. No no, he's not on the list. But still. One good thing about the Mets.. RA Dickey.

Also not found on the list: Jason Marquis, Zach Duke, and Dave Bush.

Josh Johnson should be an option.

i'd feel more comfortable throwing in the homer vote if Mat didn't suddenly falter in two crucial games his last two starts.

Latos just doesn't have enough innings pitched to even be in the conversation.

There's that, too, but I don't mind being a homer in polls like this if it's close even if I'd maybe lean another direction if I wasn't a fan.

But after his last two outings I don't think it's close enough to even warrant that.

Halladay's 213/30 K/BB in over 240 innings pitched is just nuts. FIP isn't doing Doc justice because of his 24 homers allowed.

Looks like Mr. R. Halladay just sealed it up. 21 wins, 9 complete games, 4 shutouts including a perfect game. That's not bad.

Halladay showed why he's worth the money that the Phillies are paying him. Halladay, Oswalt and Hamels make up a very tough starting 3 in the playoffs.
