In the first inning today, ARod hit a long home run into "Monument Park". He is now in a very elite group of players that have reached this milestone.
Big deal or ho hum?

Probably not as big a deal as it would have been about 7-10 years ago. But, good for him, he has that off his back now.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Ho hum. Wake me when he hits 800. There's only 4 that have probably done it clean (Aaron, Ruth, Mays, and Griffey), so it really doesn't matter much anymore.

Was at the game today in my first full day back in New York...awesome moment when it happened for sure. Happy that's finally over with too as now he can get that monkey off his back.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
So, he owes you an assist clearly.

Damn, I thought I was cool just listening to the game live. So jealous of you that live in New York.. so jealous.
I wouldn't say its ho hum but I don't think its as big a deal as it could have been. Its a great feeling to know he has finally hit it though. Probably a lot better feeling for him himself but also a great feeling for Yankees fans. His slump was killing the team and hopefully this will drive him into a good solid roll as we get later into the season.
