Joe Girardi gets a big ol' F for this game.
    1) Bringing in Phil Hughes to start the 7th when Hughes has struggled recently. Not a good idea.
    2) His brilliant pick of Matt Thornton helping to blow the game. A pick that really never made any sense.
    3) Leaving A-Rod on the bench. I don't even need to discuss this one.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I concur. I just don't understand why you have Bailey warming up in the 6th and then don't bring him in. The score was 1 - 0 and it was still 1 - 0 after the AL batted. I could understand if they scored a few runs to make it 3 - 0 or more, then bring in someone else like Hughes. If the NL scores during the 7th, then bring in the closers. Nothing changed in the 6th and it just boggles my mind why one would do that.

I wouldn't have brought in Hughes even as a Yankee fan. I would have gone Bailey-Soriano-Valverde to close it out. Oh well.
