Delmon Young with a two run bomb off of Strasburg to give the Pirates the lead.

    The fall of Strasburg begins!

    D'oh.

10 K's for Strasburg tonight, he has struckout half of the batters faced.

Just think if he was doing this against St. Louis, Philly, or something. This is going to be a good start regardless of winning or losing, BUT, he's pitching to Ronny Cedeno, the other LaRoche, Neil Walker, and a couple of chefs that work at the local Mexican restaurant.

11 strikeouts in your debut is 11 strikeouts, can't completely knock it.

Dunn with a two-run shot, then Josh Willingham follows it up with a solo homer. 4-2 Nationals.

12th and 13th strikeouts for Strasburg. He's struckout 6 in a row but is over 90 pitches now.

Strasburg strikesout the side, again, and finishes (we assume) with 14 on the night. I am so glad I didn't miss this game.

And Gammons had a great comment on Twitter on the game called tonight being excellent, so true.

Washington has a future, who the Hell knew? Decent trades, decent signings, good drafts, and maybe Bryce Harper pays off too?

Strasburg couldn't have come along 6 years earlier so that I could see him at the Stadium in an Expos jersey? Ugh.
